Thrilled to see activity here, I use this as an interface for all my stuff in an s3 bucket and thus get tools, links, bookmarks all from one search bar on any device. I find it easier and more convenient than golinks or anything similair.
To that end, making the default for no match as a (google/ddg/etc) search makes this a a more straightforward core search interface of choice - be that firefox omnibar, something like SearchbarEx on android or anywhere else users can customise that. I usually have to remember to add a g ahead of something if I wanted regular search, whereas if I want a niche search having direct access saves me a step so I always remember to add the prefix.
