MMM-HomeConnect stopped working

The installation of the module MMM-HomeConnect, worked fine for sevaral days but suddenly it stopped working, it only shows "loading appliances" or "No active device" even when my device is activ.

My Hard- and Software:
Raspberry Pi 4, 4GB, RaspiOs Bookworm, MM2 v2.30, npm v11.1.0, node v23.7.0.

Found in pm2 error logs:

How can I resolve this problem and get MMM-Home-Connect work again?

The 2nd point I have: Could you please add a "translation" for your module MMM-HomeConnect? I'm german and would like to have all on my MM2 in german. "loading appliances" and "No active device" don't meet this. Thank you.

I cannot tell exactly why, but I have done some tuning to the module.

Also I have added support for translations including German using my poor German skills.

Please do a clean clone and npm install and try to see if this resolved it

I have a similar issue, but my error message contains less content:

[ERROR] Error when loading MMM-HomeConnect: Unexpected token '...'

On the mirror is only "loading appliances" showing up.

My setup:
Raspberry Pi 3b+, 1GB, RaspiOs Bookworm, MM2 2.30.0, npm v11.1.0, node v22.13.1.

I also checked my API settings, but I cannot find the error.

Can you share more information from your logs? Especially at what line (number) this error is thrown?

Do you use the same api key for other integrations? Do you use other integrations such as Home Assistant?

Try to delete ./modules/MMM-HomeConnect/refresh_token.json and go through the authentication flow again
