Motivation
Due to the JPAL Results more push notifications can help to reach more migrants and keep Integreat interesting. After a lot of municipalities create seperate news to promote existing events we could think about enabling a more direct way to promote an event by a push notification.
Proposed Solution
We add a button/function to the detail page of an (saved/published) event to trigger a push notification. The push-notification should be send in all languages the event is existing. The push notification title should be the title of the event. The description of the push notification should be the description of the event - both cropped or only an excerpt if it is too long.
If a user clicks on an event-push-notification he is forwared to the events-page of the app (not the news page).
Alternatives
We do not add it and recommend municipalities to promote events via news.
Additional Context
If suitable please add some kind of log (if a push notification was already triggered for a specific event) to the function. This could also be worked out by UI/UX to show a different colour of the button for exemple if it was already sent once..
