connection breaks? State -> ESTABLISHED but no "Lock State" and no actuating | first time user

First time user here.

Pairing seemed to be successull
User shows up on the iOS App
but theres no actuating and the UI seems off.
while the esp32 is powered the iOS App cant connect..

how to troubleshoot, any advise will be highly appreciated!

espHome webserver shows:

user id 4
user key -number-
state ESTABLISHED
Lock State -empty sensor-
Low Battery -empty sensor-

when Pressing on any "Lock" icon:
State switches immediately to -> CONNECTING ->CONNECTED -> IDLE -> CONNECTING -> CONNECTED -> ESTABLISHED
Current User ID switches to -> 255 -> 4
the "Lock" icon always highlights the locked symbol-with-key no matter the actual state of the lock.

Have you put the user ID and key in the input fields? Can you post a screenshot of the UI?

yes user id , key, and MAC was saved via the UI. the "close direction" isnt/wasnt saved.

Looks good but I suspect the pairing did not work correctly.

There should be an auth error in the logs with the current setup.

Try to clear the inputs (user_id/key) and pair again.

Delete old user if necessary.

third time it worked just fine.

the esp will always be connected and blocks the ephone apps or is there an on demand option? did not see one in the example.yaml
