I really wanna get this working but I never handled a ESP32 more than installing WLED on it....

At the moment I got a little problem with latest ESPHome (2025.7.4) not connecting

So you may want flash an older ESPHome on Your ESP32.

I tried now so many times. They updated the yaml, and with that it worked better than before.... so I mean, I could compile more than before. But now I get errors, that the github repository isn't there.

I tried it with the esphome Builder... I have no idea if this is the problem... but atm I have no idea anymore...

Are you sure you have this written in the yaml

It looks like the esphome environment is not setup correctly. Are you using the Home Assistant add-on? Maybe try removing and adding the add-on and try compile again or clean your build files.

That was the problem. I just did a reinstall and after like 30min it worked.
I already installed the bin on the ESP.

now just another dumb question.

How can I get it connected to WiFi?

Do I have to change something in the yaml or can I do it in the installer?

The Webinstaller gives me this error message: An error occurred. Improv Wi-Fi Serial not detected

The esphome should open a WiFi network which you can connect to and there select the network
Or you can add secrets for your WiFi or directly input the SSID and password at the WiFi part:

Devicebuilder always gave me an error there.

The ESP seems to reboot all the time. I tried it with different ESPs and different PCs to install the bin.
