Syntax Highlighting not working with VS Code Update

A recent update to Visual Studio Code 1.42.1 seems to have broken syntax highlighting.

• VS Code detects the file type.
• Uninstalling and reinstalling the extension did not help.

A recent update to Visual Studio Code 1.42.1 seems to have broken syntax highlighting.

• VS Code detects the file type.
• Uninstalling and reinstalling the extension did not help.

Can you be more specific as to what is breaking? I am also using the latest vscode build v1.7.2 but am having syntax highlighting functioning.
