For the monthly PI/NSF meetings, we are sharing a data progress summary table as outlined initially in #4. One issue that arose (outside of #6) was that we are reporting the visibility of non-HydroShare/EarthChem datasets as "Unknown" (see this function for building the discovery reports). This is misleading as this information is known, we are just not tracking it at the moment (mainly because the number of these datasets is very small and there were issues interfacing with other repository APIs like Zenodo; see this issue as example).
For the NSF/PI audience, we want to report all accessible datasets as public, discoverable or published. There may need to be a small amount of manual effort each month to gut-check the list and look at dataset links in non-CZ repos, like Zenodo to make a determination.
