Building Mac external on M1/Apple Silicon

Has anyone successfully built the macOS external on M1/Apple Silicon?

I just cloned the project fresh on my M3 Max Macbook Pro at first — after fixing an error with the code signing identity not being set I'm seeing these errors:

I have "$(ARCHS_STANDARD)" set for my build architectures.
