QCG module fails on example

Hi! I am trying to run the example 1 on the website and I keep running into an error:

I have tried downloading crest with different methods (Conda, using the executable from Github and also by compiling from source). Crest runs normally for conformer search on this machine (Ubuntu). However, QCG is not working... I am using xtb 6.7.1

Same here. Ran the crest with qcg and got similar error code. Tried both xtb 6.6.1 and 6.7.1 and neither could work. When I examine the qcg_tmp/ folders, I found that the solvent and solute file got unexpected characters at the end of each line, they look like "^@^@". Tried to use source code to compile locally and add some debug output, and it seems that starting from pre-optimization the problem started to occur.
