My bad. I have a Lenovo Thinkpad T470s which already has an EC with _STA method. Hence the error. So I don't need an EC SSDT, just the USBX.

Although, a message saying "You do not need an SSDT-EC.aml" would be very helpful!

Hey there - I know this issue is rather old, it appears to have flown below my radar. Would you mind uploading your DSDT.aml? The _STA rename is done on purpose - so the presence of that method under the EC device does not negate it, but when compiling the SSDT it shouldn't have more than one occurrence of that method.

I'm not sure if this is something I've fixed in a later update (as I've made quite a number of changes to the code since September) - or if it's still an issue though. If the latter, I'll give the DSDT a look and see if I can work out what's happening.
