The video codec depends upon the video container (.mp4, .mkv), they're specific to video. That's why you cannot use the same codec for all videos at once. You've to manually select and apply the codec for each video based on it's container. |

I'm not sure I understand this - I want to convert my videos to a specific codec, which is/should be irrelevant to the original codec?? Also, again, the user is given no info about what the "default codec" is, or where to set it/change it. |

Adding multiple videos to process, the only option under Codec is "default codec". No way to see what this default is, or to pick a codec. Am I missing something?
