Any translation of computational findings to clinical applications must go through:
- Institutional Review Board (IRB) approval
- Pre-clinical validation (in vitro / in vivo)
- Phase I-III clinical trials
- Regulatory approval (FDA 510(k), PMA, or equivalent)
