Code of Conduct

Our Commitment

We are committed to providing a welcoming and inclusive environment for all contributors and users of Predictive-ML-Core, regardless of age, body size, disability, ethnicity, gender identity and expression, level of experience, nationality, personal appearance, race, religion, or sexual identity and orientation.

Our Standards

Examples of behavior that contributes to creating a positive environment include:

  • Using welcoming and inclusive language
  • Being respectful of differing opinions, viewpoints, and experiences
  • Gracefully accepting constructive criticism
  • Focusing on what is best for the community
  • Showing empathy towards other community members
  • Crediting and attributing contributions fairly

Examples of unacceptable behavior include:

  • Harassment of any kind (sexual, discriminatory, etc.)
  • Insulting or derogatory comments
  • Personal or political attacks
  • Public or private harassment
  • Publishing others' private information (especially data/credentials)
  • Submitting proprietary or confidential data to the project
  • Other conduct which could reasonably be considered inappropriate

Reporting Issues

If you witness or experience behavior that violates this Code of Conduct:

  1. Do not engage with the person exhibiting concerning behavior
  2. Report directly to the project maintainers at the contact email in the repository
  3. Provide context including what happened, who was involved, and any evidence
  4. Your report will be treated confidentially

Enforcement

Project maintainers are responsible for clarifying standards of acceptable behavior and are expected to take appropriate and fair corrective action in response to any instances of unacceptable behavior.

Possible consequences of violation include:

  • Request to remove/modify offensive content
  • Temporary or permanent ban from repository
  • Escalation to GitHub support for serious violations

Scope

This Code of Conduct applies within all project spaces (GitHub issues, pull requests, discussions) and also applies when an individual is representing the project or its community in external spaces (conferences, social media, etc.).

Confidentiality & Data Protection

This project is about sharing knowledge openly. This means:

Do:

  • Share your learnings and improvements
  • Discuss algorithms, techniques, and best practices
  • Provide examples and documentation

Don't:

  • Share customer data or proprietary information
  • Publish credentials or secrets
  • Disclose confidential infrastructure details
  • Use the project to expose sensitive data

If you discover confidential information committed to this repository, report it immediately as a security issue.
