Help: Getting blank settings screen on versions later than 2.12.3

I'm struggling to get any version of QuickAdd after 2.12.3 working.

Environment

• Obsidian Version: 1.12.7
  

• QuickAdd Version: 1.19.1
  

• Operating System: MacOs 26.5.2
  

Description of the Issue
I have only been able to install version 2.12.3 of the plugin directly from Obsidian so I manually installed the latest version first. However, the settings screen for QuickAdd was blank. I then tried version 2.13 and got the same issue.

The developers console showed this error as soon as the settings screen tried to load.

Steps
Installed QuickAdd 2.12.3 from Obsidian Community plugins screen
Quit Obsidian
Manually copied latest version of manifest.json, main.js and style.css
Restarted Obsidian
Clicked settings for QuickAdd

Expected Behaviour
I expected to see the settings screen similar to what had appeared for version 2.12.3

Actual Behaviour
Screen is blank

Troubleshooting Steps Already Taken
I've tried without success:

• Disabled plugin, restarted Obsidian, enabled plugin
• Uninstalled plugin, restarted Obsidian and installed plugin then copied new files to folder and restarted Obsidian again.
• Tried doing this with different versions of plugin and get the same issue and error.

Hi @TeeGeeNow, thanks for the detailed report and console screenshot.

QuickAdd 2.13.0 and later require Obsidian 1.13.0. Since you are running Obsidian 1.12.7, the newer settings system is unavailable, which causes the blank settings page and the e.display is not a function error.

The community plugin browser offering QuickAdd 2.12.3 is intentional. Until Obsidian 1.13 becomes publicly available, please continue using QuickAdd 2.12.3.

Before downgrading, make a backup copy of:

.obsidian/plugins/quickadd/data.json

This file contains your QuickAdd choices, macros, and settings. Please do not uninstall QuickAdd unless you have backed it up.

Then replace main.js, manifest.json, and styles.css with the files from the QuickAdd 2.12.3 release, and restart Obsidian.

Your choices and macros should remain available. However, newer QuickAdd versions migrated the global Template folder path to a format that 2.12.3 does not understand, so you may need to configure that setting again after downgrading. If you use the AI Assistant, please also check its provider and model settings.

I've not been using Obsidian for long but the QuickAdd plugin has really helped automate some workflows.
