What problem does this solve?
There is no way to mark key squares directly on the board. Coaches and puzzle authors who want to highlight a square must annotate a screenshot in an external tool, breaking the diagram creation flow.
Proposed solution
Right-click a square to cycle its fill colour: red → yellow → green → blue → none. Highlights are part of the annotation layer (see #161) and can be exported with the diagram via an opt-in in the Export panel.
