Should HTML entities be supported?

I noticed that e.g. foo"bar gets rendered as foo"bar instead of foo"bar.

Is this intended behavior? Did the original Line Mode browser support HTML entities or not?

FWIW, http://www.w3.org/LineMode/User/Features.html lists “Entity handling” under v0.14.

the original browser didn't support entities - which is why it shows as is
