Microsoft references not converting properly

Hi,

We've had a client raise an issue where documents uploaded by students which contain Microsoft Word References, are not converting properly to PDF.

Here is an example of what the document itself looks like with the references:

But when converted via librelamba the end result is this:

Have you come across this issue before? Do you know of any fixes we could implement for this?

No idea about the actual bug. But can I suggest next time upload the images directly to github instead of the thing full of ads, it took me a while to figure out what I was supposed to look at, eg:

Oh. I didn't see any ads, I have adblocker on.

I was wondering if anyone managed to fix this issue. @cwarwicker
