Installing the plugin directly from the feat/ios-limited-authorization-status unmerged branch returns an empty array

@tafelnl here's a minimal reproducible app where the plugin is installed straight from #149

The branch builds and syncs successfully with workarounds, but does not retrieve contacts on either iOS or Android. I described the issue in the Readme file

Your repro is missing the android and ios platforms. So it's expected not to work. Please add those in order to complete the repro. Also it looks like you've used AI while creating the repro. Please create the repro manually to make sure the debugging proces is thorough. This is an important part of debugging the issue which shouldn't be done with just AI

Sorry i git-ignored the android (and ios) folder, it could easily be created with an npx cap add android/ios, but this isn't the issue. The plugin works fine when i install normally with npm install @capacitor-community/contacts@^7.0.0 but when I install from your branch with npm install github:capacitor-community/contacts#feat/ios-limited-authorization-status and do an npm run build i get this error.

I used AI to quickly set up this standalone example because my goal was to show you the workarounds i had to do (on my main project as well) to get the build to go through after i install from your branch - i pointed this out in the README.md file of the repo. This work around fixed the build, but now the plugin doesnt even request permission and returns denied or an empty array.

If it wouldnt be too much trouble, can you suggest to me how to properly install from your branch without running into this build error? I'd really appreciate. I'm running my app with vite + typescript

Again, this isn't an issue when i install the plugin normally with npm install @capacitor-community/contacts@^7.0.0

Thank you. I just installed the update, and my xcode build fails with this Type 'CNAuthorizationStatus' has no member 'limited' error message

You're probably on an unsupported older version of xcode. Closing this issue since the issue itself has been resolved
