[QUESTION] Input file - tranformation, normalizatio, standardization #206

❓ Question / Help Request

Dear Caffery,
I hope you are well and thank you for the very helpful tool (:
I normally use the output of picrust2 (e.g. pred_metagenome_unstrat.tsv) as the input for ggpicrust2. But I was wondering if we should transform/normalize/standardize the picrust2 output before using it in the ggpicrust2 function. For example, should we transform/normalize it based on the tool we use (Aldex2 vs Deseq2 vs Maaslin2 vs LinDA.
Do you have any recommendations?
Thank you (:
All the best,
Carmen
