Builders Brewery LSL Tools

Free scripting tools for Second Life.
Built by Builders Brewery — a not-for-profit that has been helping creators learn, mess up safely, and try again since 2008.

This is a restart of our old GitHub work. The earlier repos are archived, with thanks to the people who built them.

Come sit at the bench. Bring a script. Pineapples optional.

Best classroom: the Builders Brewery Sandbox (SLua-enabled).
Best follow-up: class, study group, or Discord — not staring at an error alone.

SLua is based on Luau. That's the language, not the feast.

  • A Sublime Text package skeleton + a generator that pulls official Linden Lab language data
  • Docs written so limited-staff volunteers can keep this alive

  1. Official Linden Lab docs win if something here disagrees.
  2. Clarity beats cleverness.
  3. Teacher-owned class materials stay with the teachers. Topics are open.
  4. This is a community workbench, not an official Linden Lab product.
