First of all many thanks for the great work!
I would like to download the files through the API with also the hash code or version number from each file (so I will always have tracked down which EXACT file did I use for each analysis). Some other downloads provide a MD5sum or SHA256 when downloading their files/folders. Or even containers in the docker-registry have a hash code for traceability.
I am searching in the readme if exists something like that https://depmap.org/portal/download/all/ but I am not clear which ID from the "model_v2" could contain something like a metadata table for hash files.
I expect like a two columns table (or three) with the filename, the hash code, and the date of release.
That will be very helpful!
Could it be an extratable maybe at the bottom of the download_all_files section? And it would be great also as an optional columns to display next to the filename in the GUI.
