Warnings flod the Custom Fonts section of WP admin console.

Upon adding Google fonts, warnings like the following appeared in the WP admin console, in Custom Fonts, under Appearance – see screenshot.

Warning: copy(/home/public/wp-content//bcf-fonts/Merriweather Sans/merriweather-sans-400-normal0.woff2): Failed to open stream: No such file or directory in /home/public/wp-admin/includes/class-wp-filesystem-direct.php on line 309

2. Ensure file permissions: Confirm that the font file and its parent directories have the appropriate permissions for the WordPress admin to access them. The recommended permissions are usually 644 or 664.

3. Clear cache: If you have any caching plugins or server-side caching mechanisms enabled, clear the cache to rule out any potential caching-related issues.
