EDIT: I'm getting this to work on FF but still having issues in that I can't access the native controls of the Vimeo player. which means I can't control the audio/volume. The only thing that functions is the WP play/pause overlay.
Tried this on WP 5.4.2. Vimeo videos will load but will not play. Tried with three different themes (Twenty Seventeen, SimClick, Astrid).
There is an overlay that has a 'play' icon that sits over the video. Pushing it does nothing. Additionally, the on-screen controls for the Vimeo video are on screen, but don't respond to any mouse clicks or keyboard actions.
Realize this is a couple of years old but I'm sort of bound to using Vimeo and would love to be able to use this.
