Hello Why do so few libraries support them? - there are several reasons. The most important is that all traditional HUB75 drivers have a common, or at least similar protocol. By writing code for a traditional HUB75 RGB panel, we get a library that can work with dozens of drivers of this type. I have added code for PWM drivers FM6353 & FM6363 to my library. I am currently working with DP3264. As this is not my work, I do it as a hobby, so each driver takes several months to work on - and as a result, the library is added with code that works only with a specific chip and no others. And new drivers appear every month. I'm tired. I don't think that adding more and more new chips to the code is effective. In this matter, we need some new perspective that will sort all new chips into 2-3 large classes and develop a common code for each driver class, common to similar panels. |
