Is this plugin valid anymore?

Since it's become common practice in 2020 to use the TC format in conjunction with VM for meetings that are normally in-person but have switched to virtual because of Covid-19, does this plugin still fulfill its intended purpose... to display meetings that are actually closed?

With the winter approaching in the Northeast U.S. I was thinking that it would be nice to be able to use something like this plugin for inclement weather closings when there's a big storm. Just set up a page or section on the website that utilizes the temporary closures plugin and inclement weather closings could be as simple as checking a format box in the root server. But... TC is now being used far and wide for "we've gone virtual" meetings.

either way I could certainly make a few changes to it. I made this quick and dirty to fill the need at the time.

Ah okay... It's been a while since we needed it. Would we use the custom_query option to specify which format to show in the temporary closures list?

little late but yes, you would use the Custom Query.
