What I really miss these days, is that different devices can request different message rates, and the maximum is requested from AP my mavp2p , while the different MAVLink clients can receive what they need, at a throttled rate.
For example: the GCS may request some payload related messages at 10hz or higher
PFD-AR-glasses (rendering PFD) - can receive what they require (which is not even emitted by default.) - but does not need to process everything that GCS requested.
