Currently, the Export action in the main menu (Map -> Export) will generate outputs based on what the user is viewing. If the user is just looking at the map then it will create a list of points with all the attributes of the cells. If the user has the links visible it will export a list of the links.
To make what is being exported clearer to the user, the various functions should be split as different explicit export actions (i.e. as a sub-menu) for the pointmap/links etc.
