Sidi Mohamed's research is focused on developing formal verification and programming languages techniques to ensure the correctness of software systems such as distributed systems, concurrent programs, blockchain, and smart contracts.
</p>
<p>
Sidi Mohamed obtained his dectorate from the <a href="https://u-paris.fr/en/">Université Paris Cité</a> working under the supervision of <a href="https://www.irif.fr/~cenea/">Constantin Enea</a> and <a href="https://www.irif.fr/~abou/">Ahmed Bouajjani</a> at the Research Institute on the Foundations of Computer Science (<a href="https://www.irif.fr/">IRIF</a>). During his doctoral studies, he did a research internship at <a href="https://www.sri.com/">SRI International</a> under the supervision of <a href="http://michael-emmi.github.io/">Michael Emmi</a>.
Afterwards, He was a postdoctoral reseacher at <a href="https://www.utoronto.ca/">University of Toronto</a> funded in part by a <a href="https://www.nserc-crsng.gc.ca/students-etudiants/pd-np/pdf-bp_eng.asp">NSERC Postdoctoral Fellowship</a> and a <a href="https://www.mitacs.ca/our-programs/accelerate/">Mitacs Accelerate Fellowship</a>, working with <a href="http://www.cs.toronto.edu/~fanl/">Fan Long</a> in the CS Department and <a href="https://www.eecg.utoronto.ca/~veneris/">Andreas Veneris</a> in the ECE Department and their research groups.
</p>
<p>
Before starting doctoral studies, Sidi Mohamed spent one year as a Software Programmer at <a href="https://www.trusimulation.com/">Tru Simulation + Training</a>, Montréal, Canada.
he worked on writing drivers, modularizing large code projects into libraries, and setting up continuous integration systems.
Before that, he spent six months after finishing my Master thesis as a Research Intern in a partnership project funded by NSERC Engage and CRIAQ Start-Up grants between <a href="https://www.concordia.ca/">Concordia University</a> and <a href="http://www.marinvent.com/">Marinvent</a>.
He worked on investigating the usage of formal methods (with focus on interactive theorem proving and probabilistic model checking) in the system safety assessment for Integrated Modular Avionics (IMA) architectures.
</p>
<p>
Sidi Mohamed received a Master of Applied Science in 2016 from <a href="https://www.concordia.ca/">Concordia University</a>, Montréal, Canada and a Bachelor of Science in 2014 from <a href="http://www.ept.rnu.tn/">Ecole Polytechnique de Tunisie</a>, Tunis, Tunisia. His Master thesis was on the formalization and verification of optical quantum circuits using HOL-Light interactive theorem prover.
