What is the problem or limitation you are having?

The Toga web platform currently lacks implementations for a number of standard widgets that are available on other platforms. Which is currently limiting the ability to build-cross platform applications.

Describe the solution you'd like

We plan to implement the missing widgets in the web back end to bring it closer to feature parity with other supported platforms.

Be advised that #3299 is already in flight adding NumberInput.

Also - adding WebView will be... interesting. I too, wish to write a web browser that will run in my web browser :-) It's a nice party trick if you can pull it off (probably with an iframe?) but it won't have much utility beyond that

There's a couple of notable widgets that you're missing from your list, though (DetailedList, ImageView, MapView, OptionContainer, ScrollContainer, Splitcontainer, Table) - are those deliberate omissions? Some of them shouldn't be that hard to implement - ImageView is really just an <img> tag; table is a <table>; MapView will be able to borrow heavily from the GTK/Winforms backends. Even if you're not planning to actually implement any of those widgets in your pass, it would be useful to have a checklist of what is missing that others could contribute to.

Thanks for the heads up for NumberInput

Regarding Web View, that's a fair point, was just thinking that we could use a <iframe> as you suggested.

I'll add the missing widgets that was an oversight on my part will amend the list to reflect this, was more looking at the widgets that I was looking at working on myself in this pass

Just a heads up, I'm currently looking at and working on the Slider and Selection widgets implementation for the Toga Web.
