Uh oh!

I realize this is a technical group, so please forgive my ignorance. I am new to this. GitHub is very confusing to me. Okay, I received my Olares One and tried to set it up today. I discovered that I am FORCED to use an app on my phone to initially get it going. I hoped that a device on my LAN could be connected to, setup and configured using a local computer on that LAN. So, I used my phone, and quickly discovered that my phone connection needs to be on the same subnet as the device (Which my setup is not configured that way).
I was able to get the Larepass app running, create an account, and back up the ID/passphrases for import into a local Win11 client program. But before I could try that, I used my phone's Bluetooth scan to connect to the Olares and activate it. It saw it and started to install, but failed at 9%.
Next, I connected my desktop to that segment, imported the ID, installed the Win11 client, and tried to use the import passphrases, but it failed with an error like line 522 or something (it flashed quickly and failed). OK, I went back to the phone and put an AP on that subnet, and voila, the app sees the Olares One on the LAN! yay. But it wants to do the install, and still fails at about 9%. Sometimes it errors and asks if I want to uninstall, but when I try, it errors that it was not installed. It consistently sees it on the network now (using the phone connected to that AP), but it still fails at 9%.
I have pressed and held the power button to shut it down, then waited a minute to restart. it does the same thing. I have hooked up a monitor to the device, and it just opens to an Ubuntu login.
