Block OTA updates modules causes boot looping

What happened?

"Block OTA updates" module (from the original XDA forums thread) creates a boot loop about 30 seconds after boot. Disabling resolves issue.

Device state before issue

Unlocked, rooted with magisk, zygisk enabled, and "block ota updates" enabled.

Steps to reproduce

Install block_ota_updates.zip via Magisk modules. Reboot. Boots to home screen and remains stable for 30 seconds.

No, I'm using stock ROM and kernel

I apologize. I could not find your source code for this module, so I've attached this issue to this project.

You can still generate a support file using PixelFlasher, which will provide necessary details to identify if there is any conflict in any way.
Obviously without the module installed, connect your device to PixelFlasher, grant shell su permissions so that PF can detect that the device is rooted.
Scan devices
select your device
Generate support file.

Thanks for the support file, one thing would be good to check, if you disable all other Magisk modules and only enable Block OTA Updates, does it still bootloop?
If it doesn't, then enable one at a time to narrow down which combination is causing a bootloop.

I've disabled all other modules and zygisk but still a boot loop only with Block OTA Updates enabled.

One last thing I can think of is to clear OTA,

1. Disable the module
2. Reboot
3. In PF, select Device | Cancel OTA Update
4. enable module
5. reboot
