Severe hitching after loading in a world too many times

The game seems to get laggier and laggier each time when loading in to a world, eventually it starts hitching very badly until it's unplayable. The only thing that fixes it is restarting the game.

I also noticed that the severe hitching seemed to occur sooner when I was using lots of other mods, even after just a few loads, but with no other mods, it seems to take quite a bit more loads before it starts getting bad like in the example video.

Version: 1.16.5
Mods: custom-spawn-0.1.2 and fabric-api-0.31.0+1.16
Custom Spawns config: Default (Also occurred when using the b1.2_01 values)

Thanks, I will investigate. From a glance, sounds like a memory leak. As a temporary fix, can you try increasing the memory allocation for Minecraft? I see it is currently just 2gb for you.

I increased it to 4gb and it helped significantly. The bad hitches still occur and I can see my memory usage go up each time I load in a world, but it takes much longer until I start to notice anything.
