If someone sets a very aggressive TTL (e.g. a couple of minutes), it might help to have a short note that messages can disappear quickly and that the UI may show an empty inbox sooner than expected.
Something brief like:
Note: with a very short TTL, inboxes can be cleaned up quite fast. The empty state is expected once the lifetime expires.
Very low priority — just capturing it so first-time self-hosters aren’t surprised.
