Is 1gb enough RAM for raspberry pi 5 to run hyperhdr?

Hi. I'm still having the inverted colour issues with my raspberry 3b+ so I've finally decided to upgrade to model 5. Is 1gb enough RAM to run hyperhdr? Thanks

Hi! Great choice on the upgrade. For HyperHDR running on a Raspberry Pi 5 with Raspberry Pi OS Lite, 1GB of RAM is more than enough.

@awawa-dev just to be double save. Once i saw you recommend 2GB RAM for HyperHDR.
Here its 1GB RAM: Works fine. Is 2GB RAM better?
Like: 1GB works but 2GB to be save? Or is 1GB also really save?

Even if RAM prices keep going up and a 512MB version of the RPi5 comes out, you'll still be safe as long as you don't plan on compiling HyperHDR on it or running other resource hungry applications. Usually, on my daily RPi4 with the filesystem overlay enabled (which takes additional memory), Raspbian Lite OS (64bit) + HyperHDR take up around 320-330MB of RAM.
