Hey and thanks for chiming in. As for the onboarding on the console, it's been while since I went through it myself so it's totally possible that they've added some questions and steps since then. You raise good points though, as it doesn't seem to account well for hobbyists. As for the app creation issue, I've seen others report the same thing. There was a bug where you couldn't complete the process with a 0 balance, but that should reportedly be fixed now. Could you try using a fresh browser session (incognito/private mode)? For more detailed error messages you can check the console logs. Lastly, I know the console team is super eager to collect feedback and issues such as yours, so if you pop into the Let me know how it goes! |

Hi @AceTallPaul, You are correct that the form is meant for Enterprise developers, which doesn't suit your case. What we've seen in the past from hobbyist or student developers is that they filled in anything for the company name and website, we don't do any validation on these fields. Eventually, you can imagine us going through some process for companies to apply to get their app "published" where some of these information may be helpful. At this current stage, treat them as if they are just informational and not essential. For the app creation, we have dropped the price of licenses to $0 on-chain and removed the restrictions on the console dashboard. If incognito mode still doesn't work for you, I would recommend using your mobile devices and try again. From my experience, it works well with Apple devices + Chrome browsers. We're eager to learn more about what you experience! Finally, as mentioned by @ardevd, feel free to pop in on Discord (#build-on-dimo) next time if you have any questions. |

Hi @ardevd and @jamesliupenn - thanks for taking the time to reply. I used incognito + chrome on my iPhone, and was able to set up the account, and create an application. Thanks for your help. I can see the Client ID, but not how to access the API or how to enter the redirect url. There is text for the redirect, but it is not clickable? There is also a message about having 0 in the account, but im not sure if that is related. Is there something I’m missing to get to the API and redirect? I don’t have / use Discord, but I can set an account up if that is a better way to get help. Thanks again |
