The newly committed CLA (PR#71 and PR#72) is assigning all rights to Snowflake with no mention of the other corporate sponsors or participants in the OSI initiative. What is the current status of OSI? |

Following up on this - for the original contributions to the first spec, we leveraged the Snowflake CLA since signed CLA will be required for contributions once we start the process (ideally) of moving this project to a foundation. After some discussion we decided that the best thing to do is (ideally) move forward with a proposal to move this project under the ASF and then subsequently use the Apache CLA. This will mean that, once we are an ASF project we'll retroactively ask contributors to sign that CLA. In the meantime we will remove the Snowflake CLA requirement. Sorry for any confusion here. |
