Version 1.0 stable?

Quick question: The Spec in https://github.com/open-semantic-interchange/OSI/blob/main/core-spec/spec.md says version 1.0.

Is this considered to be the stable 1.0 or still WIP?

I was personally ... shocked to see the slug "open-semantic-interchanges-specs-finalized" in this URL... I guess this is finalized as 1.0... pretty shocking given I feel like there were a lot of open questions still... some of them pretty foundational.

This first version spec was published after alignment with a focused group from Snowflake, Salesforce, dbt. But we see this as a starting point and the spec is going to continue to evolve from here. We will ensure to update the versions for any breaking changes.

We also hosted a meetup in January where we shared updates about the current spec and aligned on the next set of issues to address. That working group got attendance from 100+ people from 30 different companies. As a result of that meetup, we now have 5 active working groups being led by people from Atscale, Atlan, Thoughspot etc.

Yes, it is stable. However a next version of the spec is in progress and it may contain some breaking changes. We will make sure to update the version number depending on the scope of changes.

Actually never mind, I will reopen it , so it continues to show in the discussions list and is available for others to see. My intention was to close it as "Answered" but that does not seem like an option for github discussion with type "General"
