Pricing & Support

scpn-control is open-source under AGPL-3.0-or-later (commercial license available). The code is free. These tiers fund compute, validation data, and development time.

Practical funding policy

Funding visibility is explicit in this page because claim development and validation have fixed cost drivers:

  • compute-hour cost for multi-shot or large ensemble studies,
  • data conversion and cleaning for public reference runs,
  • cross-code validation campaigns,
  • hardware qualification experiments (GPU/FPGA/network).

The same support tier can be consumed as one-off validation effort or as a continuous partner stream if you need sustained benchmark and safety evidence for pitch, due diligence, or investor-facing deliverables.

How to use this page for planning

This page separates what is immediately available from what requires additional campaign output:

  • Open code is immediately available from the repository under AGPL and can be used for bounded engineering work.
  • Commercial support is optional and is used to fund specific evidence lines: benchmark expansion, external-code validation campaigns, and hardware-timing experiments.
  • Support commitments are not a substitute for release evidence. They are a mechanism to fund the missing validation and acquisition steps.

Use this structure when discussing milestones:

  • short-term: fund reproducible local evidence and validator coverage,
  • mid-term: fund external-code and real-shot campaigns,
  • long-term: fund hardening work for facility deployment (interlocks, CODAC/EPICS, HIL paths).

Practical use and scope

Use this page as the commercial support and services boundary.

  • Use it to separate open-source code access from optional commercial support.
  • Keep support tiers tied to measurable outcomes and published deliverables.
  • Track scope changes against updated service commitments and milestones.
