Ansible Issue — Duplicate Domain Account on Target Server

Hi All,

We have configured SSH using a domain account (as administrator) to run Ansible scripts in a server. It was working fine until an identical user with different domain account was added as administrator to this same server. It caused the playbooks to hang and was fixed by removing this newly added domain account from administrator list.

We would like to understand what could have caused this problem, Your inputs/suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

Can you share a bit more information around what is happening, specifically

• What module is it hanging on, setup/gather_facts, something else
• What do you mean identical user with different domain account, is the name indentical, something else?
• Does the hang happen with WinRM/PSRP or just SSH
• What Ansible version are you on, see the issue template (ansible --version)
