Hey, can you please make it so we can choose between regular MP4 and fragmented, my videos are still completely broken, juddery and every time I pause, it resets to the beginning, along with the play bar not existing

The core architecture is changed and we can't have both formats now but in next version there is faditor tab added and also batch options so you will be able to batch select existing videos and automate to auto convert to standard mp4 and save in new folder which will solve your problem. Until then you can use any video editor for conversion and it will fix the current issues. Like you can use InShot app, import video in it and directly export which will make it standard mp4 and it will seek/play/pause correctly.

Hello! Is it possible to somehow configure/bind the "take a photo" function during video recording to the volume up button? Or add such a setting to the application?
Without this, it is not possible to take a photo at the right time using the bluetooth remote control (
And there will be a list of changes for version FadCam_v4.0.0-beta2 ?

It already is a shortcut, and using automation apps like "Macrodroid", you can bind the volume buttons etc to use it as you described. In future i will add native support for this but until then you can use automation apps to trigger the intents for any shortcuts that are available in app.

Hi! I don't know where to send the bug report, I'll leave it here. FadCam_v4.0.0-beta2 seems to have interface issues. The bottom menu of the program closes the Android navigation bar. The problem is present on xiaomi 12 lite hyperos 1 Android 14, Google pixel 7 grapheneos Android 16, and a few more where it was possible to check.
If Android navigation is not with gestures, but with buttons, then such an overlay occurs. If the screen is landscape, the panel is visible.

This is already done. FadCam have shortcuts that you can trigger with any automation app. Like in macrodroid app, you can set it up to work with your volume buttons for starting recording without opening the app.
There is one official macro for exact same purpose which you can directly use in your macrodroid app:

And in future there will be native feature added for mapping physical buttons to shortcuts, until then macrodroid or any other automation app will work fine.

Hello dear dev.

1. Can't delete projects in Annotation menu. Neither delete all nor deleting single files works.

2. Ready to capture screen button seems to get stuck after a recording, it only shows the duration of the last recording and not doing anything. It won't bring the Android's "start recording" popup which is how you begin recording.

I'll try reproducing the issue on my Android 17-beta then I'll share updates here.
That was tested on android 11 back then and it's possible that on newer Androids it's breaking. Thank you for reporting the bug, I'll update you today after i test it myself.

When you enable preview (by long pressing the preview area) and disable it back (by long pressing again), the preview is automatically shown again when the recording is started. I'm not sure if this is intended. To disable the preview again, you have to restart the app.
