Quick Start

1. Install Extension

From VS Code Marketplace:

Open VS Code
Go to Extensions (Cmd/Ctrl + Shift + X)
Search for "DevBuddy"
Click Install

2. Choose Your Platform

Open Settings and set your preferred platform:

Run: DevBuddy: Update Linear API Key
Paste your API token

Open Command Palette: Cmd+Shift+P (macOS) or Ctrl+Shift+P (Windows/Linux)
Run: DevBuddy: Setup Jira Cloud
Enter your Jira site URL (e.g., yourcompany.atlassian.net)
Enter your email address
Create an API token: id.atlassian.com/manage-profile/security/api-tokens
Paste the API token when prompted

Tip: You can paste any Jira ticket URL and DevBuddy will extract your site URL automatically.
