Optimize the orthogonal component to surface

Is there a way to use ROAST to optimize the orthogonal component to the cortical surface of the electric field vector instead of maximizing the focality or the electric field magnitude?

If you know the direction vector of the orthogonal component, you can enter that as customized orientation when calling roast_target(). See this example https://github.com/andypotatohy/roast#example-29
