Yes the script is still working,
I still see the correct values from my Sonnen battery inside the ChargeHQ app
(version 2.9 from October 13 2024)

Hi

Please change the script in line 206/207.
From:
#remove # infront to debug the script
#debug

To:
#remove # infront to debug the script
debug

Then save and restart the script.
Then it should show you the data collected from your battery as well as the payload that is sent to ChargeHQ.

Please copy the output here - then maybe we can see what the issue is.

I often get this screen and then it stops charging. I have to click "Resume Charging" to restart it

Sorry about that - I see this from time to time but not very often. It is caused by this "feature" that charge hq has added after I made the script.
I think the reason is that the script fetches data from the sonnen battery that changes rapidly. And sometime some of the data has changed (when a cloud passes by) that cause the solar production to fall - before the other data are changed, and therefore the following validation fail.

Data Validation
Charge HQ will check that the values supplied make sense from a power flow perspective.

For sites with a consumption meter (and optionally a battery) the values must satisfy this equation:

consumption_kw = production_kw + net_import_kw [ + battery_discharge_kw ]

Any of these values may be negative provided the equation is still satisfied. In particular, consumption will often be negative if there is an unmonitored solar inverter present.

Messages which fail this validation will be accepted however an error will be shown on the Charge HQ home screen and solar tracking will probably not work correctly.

So I suppose I could change my script to validate the readings before sending them to charge hq. And if the date "are inconsistent" then my script could fetch new valid data from sonnen before sending them to charge hq.

So I will try to see if I can figure out how to do that - and follow up here when it is done.

If it stops after you have had the "date are inconsistent" label - then I think it is related.

But it can also behave like you describe if you have a wrong setting in your charge hq setup:
like min solar generation, excess solar, margin ect.

From your screenshot it seems like you have "Min Excess Solar" enabled.

The description:
Min Excess Solar
If set, charging will stop when excess solar is below this value.

This setting is generally only useful for those whose charging power can't be controlled, eg older Teslas. For most people this setting isn't useful because Solar Only mode will already stop when the excess solar is too low, and Solar + Grid mode will also stop outside of solar hours.

Min Excess Solar is disabled.
I set 1 kW to Solar Tracking Margin. But I did it before, when I had connected Solaredge and the charging did not disconnect. Since I connected the Sonnen Script instead it stops if in Auto Mode.
