Is fuse-ext2 compatible with silicon macs (m1 or m2)?

I already have macFUSE installed. I noticed that fuse-ext hasn't been updated since 2018 though, so before I try to install it I just want to make sure it will work with an arm processor.

Has anyone with an m1 or m2 mac tried using this yet?

I tried building on my m1 macbook air using both the build script in the readme and the build script tested under monterey from another issue, both errored and i couldn't use extfs-2

building works fine for me according to the instructions/script but using fuse-ext2 to mount doesn't seem to work

For anyone else finding this - after fixing the compilation errors based on advice from various issue threads, got it working fine on a Mac Mini M4 Pro, but its command line manual mounting only.

Automount will not work - diskarbitratord logs a probe failure but there is no evidence of the fuse-extfs2 probe tool being called in /var/log and I suspect mount_fuse-exfs2 needs to be in /sbin rather than /usr/local/sbin
