Move visible UI strings into localization-ready resources

Create a maintainable resource boundary for visible settings, tray, calibration, and island status strings without translating the app yet.

Acceptance criteria

• Visible source strings are inventoried and moved consistently.
• Default English behavior and layout remain unchanged.
• Contributor documentation explains how a locale could be added later.
• Build and visual regression checks continue to pass.
