[Feature]: Add claim-level citation tracing and source preview #475

Description

@FerryLF

Preflight checklist

  • I searched existing issues and discussions and this hasn't been proposed yet.

What problem does this solve?

AI responses may contain multiple claims supported by different papers or source materials.

Currently, users may need to search through the reference list or open multiple documents manually to identify which source supports a specific statement. This makes evidence verification slow and reduces the traceability of AI-generated conclusions.

Proposed solution

Add claim-level citation tracing to AI responses.

For statements supported by sources, users should be able to click the sentence or its citation marker to open a pop-up or side panel showing:

  • The corresponding source
  • The original supporting passage
  • Page, section, or paragraph location
  • Author, title, publication year, and journal
  • DOI, URL, or a link to the imported document
  • Other sources supporting the same claim, when available

The panel should allow users to jump directly to the relevant location in the source document.

Citation metadata and reference layout should support common academic citation styles, such as APA, Vancouver, MLA, Chicago, and GB/T 7714, with the selected style configurable in Settings.
