cant dm users?

when a user is authorizing a app,the user allowed the bot to send dms,but using the bot client,i cant dm to the user

It's an arbitrary (and somewhat random honestly) discord restriction. I've seen servers restrict users ability to send DMs for no reason even when they were previously chatting. they have some hidden secret reputation score on users (and bots too) based on how spammy they might be.

so how does a normal bot dm a user???

In general it should, assuming 1. They haven't blocked the bot 2. Both the server and user allow for DMs
If that fails, we need an option to try to send users ephemeral channel messages

Ah, okay, I was going to ask then, how do Discord bots like Dyno, YAG, ProBot etc. get to DM users that they have been kicked/banned/need approval/welcome etc.? Seems odd that happens
