Proposal for Structure, Organization, and Best Practices

Purpose

This repository is designed as the home for developing, testing, and standardizing meta agentic systems, patterns. It provides structure for meta-agents, sub-agents, mcp servers, eval, and all major architectural decisions in the form of ADRs.

Directory Purposes (Expanded)

• agents/

  Base agent implementations. Each subdirectory is a runnable, well-scoped agent representing a specific persona, integration, or use-case.

• meta_agents/

  Composite/meta-agents that orchestrate multiple base agents, handle advanced workflows, or demonstrate “agent-of-agents”/collective intelligence patterns.

• mcp/

  MCP protocol server implementations. These expose agent tools, APIs, or integrations via standard interfaces, enabling agentic interoperability.

• evals/

  All resources required for evaluation, benchmarking, and reproducibility: scenarios, datasets, and tools. Allows for systematic testing and agent comparison.

• adr/

  All architectural decisions and rationale (Markdown ADRs in drafts/).
  Minimal, canonical code for ADR implementation or protocol reference (reference-implementations/).

• docs/index.md

  Project’s main documentation: onboarding, quickstart, contributing, high-level architecture, and navigational links.

• helm/

  Kubernetes Helm charts for rapid deployment of any agent, meta-agent, or MCP reference stack in dev/test/demo.

• tests/

  End-to-end, protocol compliance, and cross-agent tests—critical for validating interoperability, reliability, and correctness.

• .github/workflows/

  All automation: CI, testing, linting, release, and repo governance.

1. Pick a repo name (e.g., agentic-community-wg-dev)

2. Initialize repo with this structure

3. Draft first ADRs, agents, or meta-agents

4. Populate docs/index.md with project charter, setup, and quickstart info

5. Begin accepting contributions via PRs
