I was under the impression that it was supported but the abuser site doesn't seem to agree. Is there any chance the "detection" for support is a bit to strict?

Hmm that shouldn't happen as it used to work fine before (at least on Firefox 34). And it works on Firefox 37. Here's the particular line that detects IndexedDB support

It's possible BSA doesn't detect vendor prefixed IDB (window.MozIndexedDB), but I don't think Firefox does that on for version 35 only.

IndexedDB is reported as unavailable in private windows. Could that be the cause?
