Hi, thanks for the detailed report, and glad the cluster, Ceph and node setup went smoothly. Before I can tell you whether this is a bug or expected behaviour, I need a bit more detail, because the answer depends on your edition. A few things that would help:
Once you share the points above I can tell you exactly what is going on and how to fix it. |

Hi, thanks for the detailed follow-up and the screenshots, that clears it up completely. What you are seeing is a limitation of the Community edition as it stands today, and it is something we are going to improve. Why the second user sees nothing right now: in ProxCenter a user's access comes only from an assigned role. Role management (RBAC) is an Enterprise feature, so on Community there is no Role field and no Roles tab, and a user created on Community gets no role, which means the account can access nothing. The dashboard shell still loads (that is why you get the Add Widget screen and can pick a layout), but every widget queries your infrastructure filtered by that user's permissions. With no permissions the results come back empty, so the widgets show their empty state (zeros, no nodes, no VMs) instead of your real data. It is not showing fake numbers on purpose, it is simply an account that is allowed to see nothing yet. What we are changing: on Community, since there is no role management, every user you create will simply be a full administrator with the same access as your first account, so you can share the platform with your colleagues. This is coming in an upcoming release. Scoped, limited roles (read-only, per cluster, per VM, and so on) remain an Enterprise feature. I will update this thread when the release that includes it is out. Thanks again for the clear report. |

Quick update: this is now implemented and merged. On Community edition, every user you create will be a full administrator with the same access as your first account, so you can share the platform with your colleagues. Creating a user also now shows a short note in the dialog explaining this. It will be included in the next release. I will post here again as soon as that release is out so you know when to update. Thanks again for the clear report. |

Installed on Docker and created a Admin account, all is perfect, can add nodes, clusters, ceph's, all is OK no issues, created a user to share the dashboard, the user unable to see any of the option or the dashboard, no inventory, no option to add or view the inventory from SuperAdmin, and i as ADMIN unable to setup the user roles, i can see my profile shows SuperAdmin but for the user does not show anything, is it a bug or just 1 SuperAdmin to manage all ?
thank you
